[...] There are several steps to go before this thing is even a final bill. The Dem MO is just to keep bashing the Insurance industry and trying to sell public insurance as competition. That's bull. [...]
Michelle Malkin: Will Snowe fall again? Updated: Yes
[...] Sen. Olympia Snowe was one of the three members of the Senate GOP Turncoat Caucus who voted for the trillion-dollar Generational Theft Act.
This morning, the Senate Finance Committee votes on the tax-and-spend government health care takeover and “all eyes are on Snowe.” The Dems have a 13-10 majority, so passage is a fait accompli. The Beltway Obamacare-pushers are just waiting to find out if they can claim “bipartisanship.” [...]

I suppose in DC this passes for cover. To the grassroots, if it does anything, it puts some of the fall-out over Snowe's vote on McConnell. I guess it's also part of trying to not let the Republicans be branded as the party of No. But I'm not sure No isn't the right answer. [...]

Snowe and her compadre, Collins are far to left to even be considered RINO. Why don't both of them change their party affiliation?
They SHOULD change their party affiliation and many of us have told them that.
I don't know what concerns me more. The fact that she is isolated enough to actually think that the government is the vehicle that citizens look to for solving their problems, the thought that she didn't even realize the Pandora's Box she's allowed to be opened that ultimately could lead to the destruction of our Republic, or my suspicion that they bought her off and she actually sold out her country and constituents for personal gain. Can we please clean house?
I think she did ALL of the above.
