The DOJ: Idiots Working With Idiots
Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 3:40PM Publius at BG: DOJ Bombshell: City MUST Have Democrat and GOP Parties
[...] The department ruled that white voters in Kinston will vote for blacks only if they are Democrats and that therefore the city cannot get rid of party affiliations for local elections because that would violate black voters’ right to elect the candidates they want. [...]
If you can figure that one out, let me know.
Michelle Malkin: Culture of corruption: DOJ watch
[...] A 65 percent African-American district, which voted overwhelmingly in favor of Barack Obama, passed a non-partisanship provision by a two-to-one margin, yet the Civil Rights Division decided it knew better and, using an unconstitutional law, dictated its terms. Gabriel Malor at Ace: Obama's DOJ Imposes Partisan Elections on Sleepy North Carolina Town
[...] If Justice Thomas' voice had won the day, Kinston would not now be forced to decide whether to fight Obama's DOJ in the courts. [END]

I used to think the DoJ would be a career move - some time ago.
All these government departments are retirement homes full of yes men. That first quote is something right out of an English Labour local authority (city council).
Well, if you can figure it out, just let me know but speak Americanish.
