ReidCo and His Party Of ONE!

Brian Beutler at TPMDC: Lieberman: Sure, I'd Filibuster A Health Care Reform Bill
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) told reporters today that he would in fact filibuster any health care bill he doesn't agree with—and right now, he doesn't agree with the proposal making its way through the Senate. [...]
Manu Raju at Politico: Lieberman: I'll filibuster Reid plan
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Tuesday that he'd back a GOP filibuster of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's health care reform bill. — Lieberman, who caucuses with Democrats and is positioning himself as a fiscal hawk on the issue … [...]
And get this one...
The Politico: Liberals to Obama: Time to step up
It's time for your close-up, Mr. President. — Now that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has announced he'll try to push through a health care reform bill with a public option, liberals are turning their focus — and their frustrations … [...]
Yep. He's stepping up to no one at the plate. As the time comes for an Obamacare, ReidCoCare or a PelosiCare comes forth, many are turning away from a government run anything. More and more are actually looking at the United States Constitution to find out that they have no constitutional authority. Well, Pelosi will just say, "WHAT?" At least Lieberman is doing the right thing for now but don't look for his constitutional anything at the moment.
Michelle Malkin: Harrycare in trouble: Dems bail, Lieberman supports filibuster
FNC’s Major Garrett tweets that Democrat Sen. Evan Bayh is “uncommitted” on Harry Reid’s “public option” plan announced yesterday.
Politico’s Manju Ranu reports that Joe Lieberman supports a GOP filibuster: [...]
DrewM at Ace: Lieberman: I'll Vote With Republicans To Filibuster Health Care
[...] Warning: Link goes to Politico but they are the ones with the story at the moment and I changed the part I excerpted to get to the filibuster quote.
If the Republicans stay together and vote no, Harry Reid needs all 58 Democrats and the 2 Independents that caucus with them to push this through. He just lost one. [...]
I wonder if GWB did this?

The Lid: Hey Nancy, Why Not Call the Public Option--The GEORGE BUSH OPTION?
Pelosi and Reid haven't a clue and the word is out: NO GO!
Macsmind: Lieberman Gives Reid a Noogie
[...] Well Gibbs is a clueless as his boss about what we the people want. Healthcare reform yes, on the backs of taxpayers - no.
Lieberman has heard from constituents and so have other conservative democrats, NO NEW TAXES, NO GOVERNMENT-RUN healthcare. As I said before, the public option is dead and now it appears it's written in stone. Look for the liberals to re-double their efforts but it's sure to fail. By the way keep bugging your representatives and don't let the media tell you that it's not working! [...]
Noogies...LOL!!
Curt at FA: Socialist ObamaCare Getting No Where In The Senate Or The House
[...] Since that statement came out earlier today the Reid camp…or cheerleaders….have tried to spin it so it doesn’t sound as bad as it really is. I mean how can it be bad if Joe will vote to open floor debate on Reid’s bill? Of course they are leaving out the other vote…the one that closes debate and moves the bill to a vote. Joe says he will NOT vote for that if the public option is there.
Good for him. [...]
[...] Sen. Joe Lieberman said that he’d back a GOP filibuster of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s health care reform bill.
Joe Lieberman, who caucuses with Democrats and is positioning himself as a fiscal hawk on the issue, said he opposes any health care bill that includes a government-run insurance program — even if it includes a provision allowing states to opt out of the program, as Reid has said the Senate bill will.
