The Sites and Sounds of Afghanistan
Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 6:12AM I can imagine Obama screaming in his sleep.
Memeorandum...Christopher Drew at the NYSlimes: Victory for Obama Over Military Lobby
When the Obama administration proposed canceling a host of expensive weapons systems last spring, some of the military industry's allies in Congress assumed, as they had in the past, that they would have the final say. [...]
Victory over the "military lobby". VICTORY? It seems as if "victory" for Obama (Nelville Hussein) is a defeat for the US Military. What if the Taliban get meaner, badder weapons than the US Military in Afghanistan? What if their weapons come from Iran. Oh. Wait. They already are coming from Iran. Final say. Wonderful.
Memeorandum...WaPo: Obama seeks Afghanistan data to determine U.S. troop levels
Details should help president determine need — President Obama has asked senior officials for a province-by-province analysis of Afghanistan to determine which regions are being managed effectively by local leaders … [...]
Nelville Hussein is an ass. Let's WAIT until AFTER the elections. Sometimes I wonder just what is wrong with the USA. Our voting in this Nation is a lot worst than Afghanistan's are. Why? Because we are CIVIL, compared to Afghanistan. They are a Tribal people and we aren't...unless you consider the community organizing to be tribal, because they are.
This next one REALLY pisses us off...
Memeorandum...Thomas Friedman at the NYSlimes: Don't Build Up
Listen to this opener and if you go there, get ready to vomit.
It is crunch time on Afghanistan, so here's my vote: We need to be thinking about how to reduce our footprint and our goals there in a responsible way, not dig in deeper. We simply do not have the Afghan partners, the NATO allies, the domestic support … [...]
Yeah. The Man On The Ground, General McChrystal is really in a crunch time. Crunch time? perhaps TO WIN instead of doing a back-track, cut and run.
Dan Riehl: Obama: From WH To TWL In Four Short Years
[...] Meanwhile, he managed to slip off to Dover AFB between 12:30 and 4 AM last nightto greet returning caskets of 18 servicemen recently killed in Afghanistan. Despite the late hour, the event was anything but discreet. Turns out they managed to get a family of one, Army Sargent Dale R. Griffin, to agree to allow press coverage of the 15 minute ceremony, securing an inspiring photo op for the event. Maybe he wasn't tired, not having played golf that day, so far as I know, and had some time after a movie.
I found myself wondering if Obama might not be the first American Present-dent to go from the White House to the Terror Watch List in just four short years. Perhaps others will disagree. [...]

This post from Allahpundit is a huge joke. Go read it and bring your vomit puke buckets.
MsUnderestimated: Charles Krauthammer Scolds Obama on Afghan Policy Dithering (VIDEO)
Tuesday night on the Special Report panel, Charles Krauthammer weighed in on Obama’s dithering on Afghanistan while our troops are left to wonder what their mission is, fighting druglords, and wondering why their Commander in Chief won’t send them backup while they are dying in record numbers. [...]
Go read here commentary, people. [...] And, no, there will be no ‘beer summit’ for you. [END]
Screw the United Disuniters.
[...] WHOSE SIDE ARE THEY ON? IT SEEMS THE UN IS COMMITTING SUICIDE LIKE THEIR COMRADES THE EURO-DHIMMIS. [...]
YA THINK?
[...] Yes, this is going to backfire big time. This was another stupid action by the Obama's. Yup, you liberal idiots voted for this air head who doesn't have a clue on how to even “ACT” Presidential. What A Crock of BS . What a Gutless Wonder Pathetic Excuse for “weighing the Afghanistan Troop decision” How about backing the soldiers NOW? [...]
Idiot Nelville Hussein and his plethora of bottom dwellers.
Doug Powers: Obama on the Tarmac: Proper Respect, or Shamelessly Self-Serving Photo Op?
[...] Obama’s people should be careful with this sort of thing, because skeptics might suspect that they didn’t lift the ban on photographing flag-draped coffins of fallen soldiers so America can better understand the harsh realities of war — but only so the media could take photos of Obama saluting near the caskets.
I hope Obama’s early morning trip to Dover was done in all sincerity, but since Obama and his administration are wildly “image driven” people, it’s only natural to fall on the “it’s a shameless photo op” side of things. Obama saluting these fallen heroes during the deadliest month in Afghanistan while military leadership in Afghanistan is practically begging for reinforcements and he’s dragging his heels on a decision could be viewed as a collision of cause and effect. These facts alone make this “photo op” — if that’s what we want to call it — backfire. [...]
Backfire. That's Nelville Hussein's next middle name.

Shameless. Another middle name for the Neville.
Kevin Jackson at the Black Sphere: Obama is The Thinker
The current situation in Afghanistan exemplifies what you get, when you put a sissy in charge of the military. Obama likens himself as Rodin’s The Thinker,” appearing contemplative and deliberate. The problem is that Obama is little more than a thinker and a lot less of a doer. [...]
Obama just plain sucks.

I heard someone say that IT was thinking about sending less than half of the troops McChrystal requested. They "tongue in check" called it McChrystal Lite. I don't think there is anything funny on the entire topic and since when does a community organizer know how to run a war.
A community organizer does one thing and one thing only...LOSES.
