Czars, Esquires and the Alleged Porkulus/Stimulus Tomfooleries
Friday, October 30, 2009 at 8:53AM Memeorandum...Michael W. McConnell / Wall Street Journal: The Pay Czar Is Unconstitutional
Kenneth Feinberg hasn't been confirmed by the U.S. Senate. — Printer — Friendly — Last week's announcement that “Pay Czar” Kenneth Feinberg slashed compensation for executives at seven large financial firms by an average of 50% stunned Wall Street ... [...]
EVERY Czar is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! I don't care if they do change their Titles to "Compensation" or any other term. They are accountable to ONE person and that is the US President and as soon as we GET a President instead of a Rezident, we MIGHT be able to change all of this Czar garbage. What does the US COnstitution say? NO TITLES OF NOBILITY! That's what. As a matter of fact, no ATTORNEYS need to be in Congress...EVERY attorney as "ESQUIRE" on their diplomas and what is "ESQUIRE"? It is a tilte of nobility. Read the USC, damn it. Anyway...
Michelle Malkin: The Stimulus Jobs Inflation Index
Old metric: Jobs created or saved.
New metric: Jobs inflated or craved.
The White House put out its new fuzzy porkulus math report — and then patted itself on the back for “transparency:”
AP: Gov't says stimulus saved or created 650,000 jobs
AP: Stimulus jobs overstated by thousands
No wonder the White Marxist House went after the AP.
Dan Riehl: Updated: Obama's Adolescent White House
Adolescent? That's because his entire crew are nothing but a bunch of community organizers that Obama has selected because he has ZERO balance in any field of operation. He CANNOT make his own decisions on anything. He is a LIAR. Period, plain and simple.
Dan tells us, from Peggy Noonan:
Part of the reason is that the problems—debt, spending, war—seem too big. But a larger part is that our federal government, from the White House through Congress, and so many state and local governments, seems to be demonstrating every day that they cannot make things better. They are not offering a new path, they are only offering old paths—spend more, regulate more, tax more in an attempt to make us more healthy locally and nationally. And in the long term everyone—well, not those in government, but most everyone else—seems to know that won't work. It's not a way out. It's not a path through. [...]
And that should cover that, not that I am too pleased with Peggy Noonan's collapse of Conservative principles.
Bob at Confedeate Yankee: Propping Up The Dead
In a more barbaric portion of our nation's past, it was not uncommon to prop up the bodies of the newsworthy dead to take pictures with them. It is a vile act still practiced by some crude thugs in one particularly callous and self-serving sect. You know them as the Democrats.
Whether tripping over each other to use caskets as a lectern at the funerals of a Wellstone or a Kennedy, there is never a moment too solemn for liberals to soil if the slightest political opportunity presents itself. [...]
OUCH! He was talking about the Dover Mishaps of The One but his story fits here as well.
Ed at HA: Obama claims 650,000 jobs “saved or created” via Porkulus
[...] The “majority of funds” came from state governments because Porkulus distributed the money in block grants to the states. What did the states do with that money? They did save jobs, but primarily bureaucratic jobs. States used the money to temporarily paper over budget gaps which would have forced the layoffs of state employees, which should have been a necessary step in slimming down state-level spending. [...]
Porkulus. What a disgusting disgrace to the American People. Then again, it seems as if the "American People" that the Leftinistra ramble on and on about ARE the American People and the rest of us are just racists.
Jim Hoft: White House “Created or Saved” a Million Jobs & Lost 3.3 Million Since Stimulus Passed
[...] In reality the US has lost 3.3 million jobs since the Obama-Pelosi stimulus act passed. [...]
And this brings us to a post I published way back in October of 2009, on the 16th: 2.5 Million Jobs Promised With 30,083 Created and 3.6 Million Jobs Lost. Ain't that QUAINT?
I think I smell something pathetically odd here. We were promised that we would get 2.5 MILLION jobs, we lost 3.6 Million jobs but created 30,083 jobs. What happened? Did they go to the federal government? [...]
Porkulus Bills. What a PATHETIC choice for We The People.

Ace at Ace: CBS News: Obama's Just Kinda Making Stuff Up About Jobs "Saved or Created"
Two big points I want to make: First of all, that Florida day care center that claimed Spendulus money "saved or created" 129 jobs when in fact the money they got was simply used to give all existing employees... [...]
Democrats and their DIDs in the GOP...ASSHATS!
The White House today anounced that President Obama’s economic stimulus plan has so far saved or created more than one million jobs.
But Barack Obama’s government website paints a totally different picture—-
According to Recovery.gov the Obama Stimulus “created or saved” only 20 jobs in Connecticut. [...]
Go see Jim's screen shots...Obama CANNOT hide from his damned LIES. Recovery dot gov...such a waste of time.
Memeorandum...more lies: Political Punch: Obama Administration: Stimulus Directly Saved or Created Roughly 650,000 Jobs
The Obama administration's $787 billion stimulus bill directly saved or created about 650,000 jobs as of the end of last month, administration officials announced this morning. [...]
Damned liars. How's that 10% unemployment doing, fellas?
Veronique de Rugy: The Economy is Growing. Right. And I Don’t Have a French Accent.
EXCELLENT post!
We should be happy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced a 3.5 percent growth in this year 3rd quarter. Yet, most of us aren’t. At least I know I am not. Why? Because I have no faith in the numbers. [...]
OUCH! Go read that one.
Memeorandum...Michael Coope at New York Times: White House Chalks Up 650,000 Jobs to Stimulus
The federal stimulus program has saved or created nearly 650,000 jobs through aid to states, infrastructure projects and federal contracts, the Obama administration claimed Friday morning, adding that officials believe they are on track to meet ... [...]

I went through Louisiana's share last weekend line item by line item.
A full 75% is for social programs and not for infrastructure or construction projects to put people to work.
I skimmed through those funds for Texas and it is not much better.
I do believe that the Porkulus monies were stopped for Texas...I hope.
I like people who use CAPS LOCK in their articles and posts. It makes me believe them.
I like it when a MORON comes by and acts the ass. Moron.
