OK now.  Dede has removed herself from the campaign because of financial problems.  Bummer.  Maybe ACORN and the other Leftist groups have failed.  Who knows.

I was at a function for the Halloween Festival at our local church when Loki called and let me know about 1000 CST.  It was GREAT news!  So now, I guess we can stop with this episode.

So, now, it's all up to Hoffman but, Newt is all in for Hoffman now.  Idiot Newt and now the NRCC is all up for Hoffman. Looks like they want to bring the Republican back into the fold, as it were.  If I was him I'd stay the Independent.  Screw the Republicans.

Geesh, she quit in tears. She did the right thing. I had said I admired her for standing up in front of the Hoffman campaign location and giving her short speech. Nothing she's done has caused me to change that positive view. I've no ill will toward her. She had a long, productive career as an elected official. I won't knock her for that, even if I found some of her thinking to be wrong. Hopefully she can carry on in her career at the local level for now. I don't see why not. These must have been incredibly stressful times for her.
