Obama, Afghanistan and the Impossibility To Make a Real Decision

Doyle McManus / Los Angeles Times: Obama must rethink rethinking Afghanistan
Barack Obama is in danger of giving deliberation a bad name.
The decision about whether to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan was never going to be easy, but events -- and a collision of egos in Kabul -- have conspired to make it even harder.
Obama was right to insist on a full review of whether U.S. interests are better served by expanding the American military footprint in Afghanistan or shrinking it.
But now, two months into his second "comprehensive policy review," after eight Cabinet-level meetings and several slipped target dates, the president still hasn't made up his mind. [...]
Therein lies the problem. The One, The Obama doesn't know how to make a decision other than organizing a community and to say that "there is too much corruption in Afghanistan" almost makes my skin crawl. I wonder if Stevie knows about ACORN and the voter fraud running rampant in a seemingly civilized society. Then again, the marxist-sociopathic boondogglers on the left wouldn't know what voter fraud is so who are they to whine about Afghanistan? Look what they did for Iraq as Iraq Celebrates First Class of Elite Female Police Officers. Where are the marxist-sociopaths now?
Obama making up his mind? Please. Don't confuse him. He's organizing something but he doesn't know quite what yet there is to organize...things just aren't going his way. Besides, Obama's Bow To Emperor Akihito Ignorant and Treasonous, where else does he have to go but out on a rail? Hypocrisy thy name is Democrat.
Skye at Flopping Aces says quite a bit but the video is priceless. Pelosi, Obama's unconstitutional cohort whined about not reading a Bill a while ago...
Pelosi is an idiot but Obama? He's a strange case that one. "A vote for the motion to recommit, is a vote for members to be able to read a bill before they vote on it. IS THAT ASKING TOO MUCH?" Only when you are not in power, moron. Both of you. Anyway, I digressed. Back to Afghanistan.
General McChrystal asked for 60,000 additional Troops to win the war. We did it in Iraq and for many moons The One demanded that we need the same for Afghanistan but the libtards are on his case. Seeing that he hates the military, any leanings will be towards those that also hate the military. Such is the case for the anti-Americanists. No Troops for Afghanistan means they must continue on with an idiot as the CIC. Is it any wonder why we hate this cretin?
He wants to bring the murdering Jihadis to NYC but won't send Troops to Afghanistan because of Afghani corruption? We Troopers don't give a damn about corruption...we want to WIN THE DAMN WAR and let the Wimplomats worry about the corruption in Afghanistan, while our very own corruption in the USA goes unchecked. Go figure.
This is what happened, if I may. With all of this bailing every body out and all of this unconstitutional federal health scare, there is no money left for Afghanistan and Obama's numbers show it. I may or may not believe this totally but, believe it or not - there is a first things for everything - the NY Slimes said the following:
"Senior administration officials reported to the New York Times today that budget projections for the war in Afghanistan will cost U.S. taxpayers at least $1 million per soldier, per year.
The plan to add 40,000 American troops and greatly expand Afghan security forces, supported by Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top commander in Afghanistan, is estimated to cost between $40 billion to $54 billion annually. “Even if fewer troops are sent, or their mission is modified, the rough formula used by the White House...appears almost constant,” according to the NYT.
The new estimate for the cost of war in Afghanistan will cancel out the $26 billion savings projected for a 2010 troop withdrawal in Iraq. Under this scenario, the overall military budget could rise as high as $734 billion. The highest annual military budget during the Bush era was $667 billion.
A senior administration official speaking anonymously with the NYT said that concerns over politically volatile spending influenced the President during a White House meeting on Wednesday. Obama was insistent that each military plan incorporates the quickest possible exit strategy.“He knows we cannot sustain this indefinitely,” the official said."
Sustain this indefinitely? Where was this attitude during every war we have ever had? The only times we have this pathetic attitude is where there is a libtard in charge and they have no idea what they are deciding, especially Obama. Look at Kosovo. Why are we still there? I wonder if Clinton knows. I have no idea why we are still there other than keeping Jihadi scum in check but, no libtard will ever admit that.
I do believe that I agree with Macsmind: We Need a New Federal Law - President Obama Not Allowed to Speak without a Teleprompter. Now, we would have to place an amendment in the United States Constitution for that but, you get the point...listen to this jargon and then tell me if Obama can make a half-assed guess at what to do in Afghanistan...
"... Now, obviously Japan has unique perspective on the issue of nuclear weapons as a consequence of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. And that I'm sure helps to motivate the Prime Minister's deep interest in this issue. I certainly would be honored, it would be meaningful for me to visit those two cities in the future. I don't have immediate travel plans, but it's something that would be meaningful to me.You had one more question, and I'm not sure I remember it. Was it North Korea?
Q Whether or not you believe that the U.S. dropped a nuclear weapon on Hiroshima and Nagasaki -- it was right?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: No, there were three sets of questions, right? You asked about North Korea?"
Macsmind makes a very good "argument":
[...] So why can't Obama man-up and say whether or not Harry Truman - a Democrat - did the right thing? Obviously this is yet another example of an amature in action. [END]
Obama. Incapable of even answering a simple question let alone calling any shots in Afghanistan.
