The GOP "Purity Test"

The battle among Republicans over what the party should stand for - and how much it should accommodate dissenting views on key issues - looks like it's going to move from the states to the Republican National Committee when it holds its winter meeting this January in Honolulu. [...]
Tony Romm / The Hill: RNC weighing new message strategy in 2010

A Proposed GOP List Of Principles
(1) We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama’s “stimulus” bill;
(2) We support market-based health care reform and oppose Obama-style government run healthcare;
(3) We support market-based energy reforms by opposing cap and trade legislation;
(4) We support workers’ right to secret ballot by opposing card check;
(5) We support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants;
(6) We support victory in Iraq and Afghanistan by supporting military-recommended troop surges;
(7) We support containment of Iran and North Korea, particularly effective action to eliminate their nuclear weapons threat;
(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act;
(9) We support protecting the lives of vulnerable persons by opposing health care rationing and denial of health care and government funding of abortion; and
(10) We support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership;
The list is called by MSLSD as a "purity thing" but we all know what this is and it is what we have been fighting for. It is time for someone to actually stand for something and stick by it instead of being Democrats In Drag.
Makes me wonder what the libtards thought about the Contract With America. It also makes me wonder how long the GOP and their Democrats In Drag will hold onto the list.

The 10 principles on the GOP Purity test are OK, at least superficially. Now let me draw a line for you:
(0) Modulo its own employees, and federal criminals*, the Federal Government should not interact with private citizens.
Having set down that marker, let's see if and how we can apply this concept to the 10 items:
Go check it out...really good points to adhere to...GOP!
