WASHINGTON — President Obama and his wife, Michelle, had a face-to-face encounter with the couple who sneaked into a state dinner at the White House this week, White House officials acknowledged on Friday. [...]
President Obama has ordered a full review into how a Virginia couple managed to make their way into the White House for last week's state dinner without an invitation, even getting so far as to meet the president in the official receiving line, according to a White House official. [...]

Yep. Sure does look like a Cloward-Piven moment to me.
Misundestood? What if a Republican had done this under a Republican Administration? How many Secret Service types would have been "dealt with"?
I don't understand why the White House is so upset about the 2 party crashers at the president's state dinner the other night.
Is it really appropriate and politically correct to call them party crashers just because they trespassed? Does that make them criminals? Isn't that discrimination? Shouldn't they be rewarded for such bold and brave behavior? Maybe they were just trying to feed their family?
I would suggest that it's more appropriate to call them "Undocumented Guests!"
Just because they weren't officially invited doesn't mean they should be treated like criminals. Maybe they should get free health care, free housing, free legal services, and free White House green cards so next time, they can bring their families and relatives too!
How can the president be mad at them just because they crossed over some arbitrary man made border? They were only there to do the things that regularly invited guests didn't want to do - like hang out with Joe Biden.
How can the White House punish these poor, oppressed undocumented visitors? Where is Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the ACLU when you need them?
HA! Sarcasm duly noted. How many "duly noteds" do we need to dump this upstart community organizer?
[...] Will we find out who was on the door with the Secret Service Agent, the WH Social Secretary’s staff person checking the GUEST LIST and OKing the admittance of arrivals? [END]
Under this Administration? Not likely seeing how transparent they all are and all that.
After the Secret Service insisted that President Barack Obama was never endangered by a security breach that allowed a reality TV hopeful and her husband to crash his first state dinner, the White House released a photo showing that not only did the pair get close to Obama, they actually shook hands and spoke with him.
As the White House was disclosing that the Virginia couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, met Obama in the receiving line, a "deeply concerned and embarrassed" Secret Service on Friday acknowledged that its officers never checked whether the two were on the guest list before letting them onto the White House grounds. [...]
Some idiot blogger doesn't see a problem with the uninvited party crashers and security breachers but, you know, they weren't those damned right-wing constitutional extremist wackos or anything, right? [...]
Had this been a GOP "intrusion" unde a GOP Administration, there would have been calls for someone's head. But, well, you know. This was just a minor trespass.
