I have been preaching this since I was 13 years old and I am now 54. That means it has been 41 years since I was screaming about the USC. I used to say about 30 years but if memory serves me correctly, stroke and all, 41 years is larger than 30 years. Right? I am quite sure that I am in agreement with the following:
Two posts, one at STACLU and Maggie's Notebook:
The posts are identicle so reading just one is good...just read either one.
While we know in our gut this massive piece of legislation coming out the Senate, and said to be a health care bill, is unconstitutional, most of us cannot concisely explain the unconstitutionality of it, and why those seeking to pass it should be strung up, tarred and feathered. The Heritage Foundation has done the hard lifting for us. [...]
It isn't all that difficult but if you are not knowing just what the United States COnstitutoin says and if you are all over judicial review like some are, the reading is most exquisite. In essence, if the Enumerated Powers within the USC are violated than the subject matter is in fact unconstitutional. It's that simple.
No matter what Nanna Peloozi so states, her federal care Bill is in fact unconstitutional. She relies on what some SCOTUS said back in the 1930s that whatever Congress does is constitutional. Show me where that is within the USC and I will grant some success on your part. However, seeing that Nanna's unconstitutionalism is her ways and means of Marxist-sociopathic tomfoolery, she can drop dead as far as I am concerned and I don't care if "she has heard that vileness before" in her miserable life.
Go read Maggie's posts. Most excellent.
