Queen says Britain owes 'debt of gratitude' to troops
Friday, December 25, 2009 at 12:55PM Go see this video!: Queen says Britain owes 'debt of gratitude' to troops
Wish I could post it but could not and the link was in Twitter under StokeNewingtonKris: stokenewington Alright people, listen up!
Yes, we all owe the The Troops of all walks of life, on our side of the fence, a debt of gratitude. We also owe them much more than ONE bottle of water and ONE MRE. Don't we?
As for the USA:
Frank Newport / Gallup: This Christmas, 78% of Americans Identify as Christian
So much for The One saying that we aren't a Christian Nation, eh? As the "poll" so states, "This Christmas season, 78% of Americans identify with some form of Christian religion, a proportion that has been declining in recent decades". It is down about 5% to 7% in these "recent decades". Sorry, Frank. Your Obamabot mentality is sinking and sinking fast. This reminds me of an email I received from Cyber Pastor.
I hear there is a lot of prayer running around and if not now, real soon. My porayers for myself is to not get mowed down by the Obamabots and his henchment from Interpol and the "small arms" deals via the UN.
From The Cyber Crew:
A renewed Christmas call to prayer ...
For most of my life, as you know, I’ve been a storyteller of sorts … of sorts, because my storytelling was by written word, as a journalist. So I pay attention to story lines, and appreciate good ones!
That’s what I was thinking about, earlier this month, as I stood on the courthouse square waiting for the next group to hear my narration at the final scene of the community live nativity. What a simple story! A wonderful, simple concept that had meaning for even the young children accompanying parents and grandparents …
God gave us the Baby Jesus … and with the gift comes the question, posed in my narration, of how will we use it … will we lose Him in all the trappings of how we celebrate that birth on December 25th?
I look at the story of the United States at the end of 2009 and understand it is not so simple. We seem to be racing at breakneck speed away from the Christian values and the Constitution our nation is based upon. And we have elected representatives – two senators from Indiana, one of each party – who have been unwilling to face us in person, even try to avoid communication with us.
The same thing is happening across America. And a lot of Americans are unhappy about it.
Roberta and I are among them. What to do about it is not simple. But we have attended a major national conference in St. Louis, MO, and a number of other sessions … even went to Washington. And we’ve found the answer we knew was there all along … the reason I’ve been a member of the Presidential Prayer Team and have asked each of you to join me in a group of my own.
The answer is prayer.
That’s been emphasized by speaker after speaker, at all levels of influence, in place after place we’ve gone. I would like you to read brief quotes from two of them:
Lt. Gen. William Boykin, former CIA intelligence chief – “Today, we as Christians are the only hope. It’s time for us to step up to the plate. God has saved a remnant for such a time as this. We are in a spiritual battle and Satan is the enemy … what will destroy us is we have become so timid we try to appease instead of standing up and fighting with the armor of God.”
Janet Folger Porter, president of Faith2Action – “We had better be plugged into the resurrection power source – surrender to God, who can give it to you. We have to join together like never before and humble ourselves. Repentance happens when we become humble, pray seeking His face, give God our undivided attention and turn from our wicked ways. One thing about God, He specializes in impossible odds. He works through impossible odds.”
This Christmas, as every Christmas, we can find a shining light.
Today, that shining light is spiritual revival. Speaker after speaker we’ve heard, from across Indiana and the nation, has referred to a spiritual revival building across the country. It springs from people turning to God and from examining the Christian values of our founding fathers.
We will be called to action beyond just prayer … to involvement … to “standing up and fighting with the armor of God.”
But this Christmas Day, and every day of the New Year, may we start by turning to God, asking His forgiveness for the sins or our country and pleading for Him to restore us as a nation that values Him and his principles.Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

Prayer does change things. Also, prayer causes action. At times, action is combat. Would it have been better to fight WWII by prayer alone? Vietnam? Korea? Kosovo? No. It SHOULD have been prayer with action. Like today. We are in a Holly War...that's what Jihad is. Jihad isn't a gang of thugs calling themselves "Jihad". Jihad is a "religious war" and it means death to all that disapprove of the pedophile Mucky. That much is plain and simple but the ignorant and uninformed in our Natoin do not or cannot accept the fact that we are in a religious war. Why? Because they are in fact unbelievers. And what does the Jihadi think of those that are the "unbelievers". Death. Get with the program.
So, it is with a deep debt of gratitude for our Troops that know what the battles are, have volunteered to correct the "problem" of Jihad. And that is why Obama must be silenced, impeached and/or driven out on a rail out of the country. His Jihadisms will kill us all.
The Troops. The Troops. And nothing but The Troops. So help me God.

Thanks for posting Roger Metzger's piece from our place.
On the topic of prayer and action, James shares the following about "Faith and Works":
James 2
Faith and Deeds
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,"[e] and he was called God's friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.
25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
Faith without works is in fact deader then snot on a doorknob.
