The Fear Mongering Party Continues Their Lunacy
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 9:18AM As FDR once said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". Barack Obama, FDR incarnate, says, "Pass this crap sandwich or else you will all be living in tents or out in the open, the sky will fall and crush you all and it will be all your fault and we will have the Republicans to thank for it."
Obama is no FDR nor a JFK nor a RWR. What Obama is, is the combination of Saul Alinsky, Karl Marx, Engles, Stalin, Lenin, Chairman Mao and a host of other anti-Freedom control freaks.
The vote to waive the Collins/Nelson Amendment passes 61-37 as word of a possible passage of the unconstitutional stimulus package crap sandwich sends the markets into yet another downward spiral. Do the Democrats care? No, they do not. Now they will vote on HR1 to see just how deeply they can rape the American People.
So, if Obama is correct in that "he inherited" a trillion dollar deficit and that deficit was due to the "failed policies of the last 8 years", how then does adding to that trillion dollar deficit an additional $1.5 TRILLION of the continuance of those "failed policies" going to fix anything?

Have you noticed, too, that as Obama tries ever more desperately to sell his porkapalooza, his claims for it expand? Originally he said it would save or create 3 million jobs. Then for a while it was 3-4 million. Tonight Obama's consistent claim was that the porkfest will create 4 million jobs.
I noticed, but hey, you've got to bump up the need to justify the price ...
The entire world has noticed and the idiots in DC have created a new version of Laughing Stock.
The votes to approve HR1 ($838 BILLION non-economical non-stimulus crap sandwich) after the vote to go ahead and vote is as follows: 61-37. HR1 as amended has now passed the Senate.
An IDIOT just calld into C-SPAN2 and said that Obama needs to be given a chance? The Presidency is not an OJT program. Damn his supporters are dumb!

[...]On Thursday (Sept 18), at 11am the Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw-down of money market accounts in the U.S., to the tune of $550 billion was being drawn out in the matter of an hour or two. The Treasury opened up its window to help and pumped a $105 billion in the system and quickly realized that they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. They decided to close the operation, close down the money accounts and announce a guarantee of $250,000 per account so there wouldn't be further panic out there.
If they had not done that, their estimation is that by 2pm that afternoon, $5.5 trillion would have been drawn out of the money market system of the U.S., would have collapsed the entire economy of the U.S., and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed. It would have been the end of our economic system and our political system as we know it.
We are no better off today than we were 3 months ago because we have a decrease in the equity positions of banks because other assets are going sour by the moment. [...]
