[...] The underlying argument from the Tea Party protests and other groups is a reassertion of state’s rights. [...]
[...] The problem wasn't just bad decisions followed by rash reactions and changing stories. The mistakes, oversights, cover-ups, and bad press of this past week all hit Obama in the most sensitive spots, undercutting the pillars on which he had built his rare transpartisan appeal.
During the transition, Obama won some Republican hearts with his promise of competence and intelligence. When he stacked his administration with Ivy League PhDs, David Brooks gushed that Obama was "picking the best of the Washington insiders," and giggled, "If a foreign enemy attacks the United States during the Harvard-Yale game any time over the next four years, we're screwed." [...]
Very funny moron. Very funny.
If you don't understand the profound importance of the Federal Reserve's decision this week to purchase $300 million of US long-term debt, consider the words of savvy Wall Streeter Ben King: It's the "nuclear option . . . commence the Weimar Watch."
We all know what happens when a nuclear bomb goes off, but people younger than 60 may not recognize the Weimar image of Germans before WWII pushing wheelbarrows of currency to make ordinary purchases. Hyperinflation and the collapse of that country's currency led to the rise of the Nazi Party. [...]
Hopefully, this will never happen but why travel down the road which could very well lead to similar end results of a run-away U.S. Congress?
The Iranian response to the idiot Obama's oliver branch: transcript
[...] They started with this, and then they moved on to confiscate and seize Iranian assets and goods. The previous regime had placed enormous amounts of money at the disposal of the Americans, in order to receive airplanes, helicopters, and weapons from them. Some of this equipment was already manufactured there, but when the revolution took place, they did not supply the equipment, nor did they return the billions of dollars. Even more extraordinary – they stored this equipment in some warehouse, and decided by themselves to charge storage fees. They turned themselves into creditors, and deducted storage fees from the account of the Algiers Accord. Plundering the property of another people and keeping it for themselves, and then charging storage fees – this behavior began back then, and it continues to this day. [...]
[...] Now the new U.S. administration is saying: "Let's forget about the past. We want to conduct negotiations with Iran." They are saying: "We are extending our hand to Iran." Well, what kind of hand are they extending? If they are extending an iron hand concealed in a velvet glove, then it has no positive meaning. They send greetings to the Iranian people for its holiday, but in those very greetings, they accuse the Iranian people of supporting terror, of pursuing nuclear weapons, and so on. Let me say that I do not know who the decision makers in the U.S. are – the President, Congress, or some people behind the scenes. But let me say that the Iranian people has acted with logic from day one. We do not act emotionally with regard to the issues important to us. We make decisions on the basis of calculations, rather than emotions. [...]
First of all and primarily, those of us that are in the know, recognize this "response" as typical bravo sierra and it does in fact prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the liberals in this nation are in league with the terrorist nation of Iran. Read the cited excerpt again and place a face on the Democrat and Republican Party members that have nearly said the exact same rhetoric for years now. Democrats (primarily) and the fraud Republicans and terrorists - one can hardly tell them apart.
If the United States did, giving the benefit of the doubt here, truly "start this", it was President Jimmy Carter in the late 1970s. Facts are hard to hide. As you begin to perform your own research, ask yourself this question; "Which American president empowered the current regime in Iran?" You will find that it was in fact Jimmy Carter. They were such nice religious people and the Shah of Iran was not.
[...] Carter’s decision not to support the Shah of Iran against Islamic radicals in the late 1970’s meant that instead of a West-friendly oil-producer, the world is saddled with a Muslim terrorist state that blends its quest for nuclear power with unnerving apocalyptic language. Iran is a global exporter of terror, from Chechnya to Lebanon. They have all but promised the elimination of Israel if they achieve nuclear capability, and certainly "the Great Satan" and the rest of the “blasphemous” West won’t be far behind. [...]
And, adding insult to injury and proving, once more, that Barack Hussein is in over his head:
[...] Among Iranians -- whether Jews, Muslims, Christians or Zoroastrians, the majority of whom have been living in the United States for nearly 30 years -- Carter is still blamed for the fall of the pro-American regime of the late Shah of Iran. Many also hold Carter responsible for the loss of innocent lives and of the vast fortunes they were forced to leave behind after the 1979 overthrow of the Pahlavi government.
"I dislike Carter so much that I hate to have my name 'Jimmy' the same as his name," said Jimmy Delshad, an Iranian Jew and mayor of Beverly Hills.
"Not only did Carter cause problems for Jews and non-Jews who were forced out of Iran, but he changed the whole dynamic of the Middle East by his backing of Khomeini, and that has had a whole ripple effect in the Middle East, which America is still trying to recover from," Delshad said, referring to the Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, who led the revolutionary, fundamentalist Islamic Republic. And Obama caters and panders to our enemies created by Jimmy Carter and calls AIG suicide bombers. No wonder the nation is on the verge of an internal blood bath. Then again, the internal blood bath will be pretty much one-sided. Plug one moonbat and the rest will piss and crap themselves and run away. As Barack the Dummy tries to sniff Iranian Fart Residue, the Iranians continue to chant "death to America". Obama: a Clear and Present Danger.
For the record and to reveal, again, that Democrats care for one thing and one thing only, please recall this statement of Jimmy Carter from 2007: "I have a specific regret in not having one more helicopter when I wanted to rescue our hostages. If I had had one more helicopter, they would have been rescued. I might have been reelected president." All Democrats care about is power and if they have to enslave the American population to get it, so be it.
With the Cloward-Piven and the Saul Alinsky drones in power, the financial "crisis" contrived by Democrats, promoted by Democrats and the Democrats disguised as Republicans, grows day by day and there will be no end to it unless We The People take our country back in accordance with the United States Constitution and our Declaration of Independence.
Man up people.
We now have United States Congress Critters expressing these same sentiments. I have been warning and writing about this very scenario for several decades now but I never thought I would witness it in my lifetime.
I have been in The Suck many times and I would prefer it not to be in our own streets. However, if that is to be, so be it.
