Obama Apologizes for America Again
Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 5:20AM
I can hardly wait for Obama to visit Germany! Happy happy joy joy by golly gee wiz. Obama spoke in Cairo and the chatter is beginning to gather at Memeorandum. Iran just said that the "sweet talk" ain't makin' the grade.
Obama spoke today at a facility that has turned out some great people and some of the world's top thugs...Yasser Arafat graduated there, Naguib Mahfuz graduated there, Ayman al-Zawahri graduated from there and Saddam Hussein attended but did not graduate.
I like what Col Ralph Peters said and I paraphrase (and will link the exact quote when he publishes his article soon to come): Obama said that the USA was influenced by Islam from the very beginning is like saying Christopher Coloumbus was a Scientologist.
Jammie Wearing Fool said: "The dude is so disingenuous it's difficult to know where to begin." AMEN!
Gateway Pundit said: "Obama doesn't seem to think that liberating 50,000,000 Muslims from two of the world's most brutal regimes counted for much."
From the Politico:
“I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims,” he said. “As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.”
The comments in what he called “the timeless city of Cairo” are by far the most extensive he has made about his Muslim roots. Obama added another personal note as he insisted on greater religious freedom throughout the world: “I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today.”
From Yahoo News:
In a gesture to the Islamic world, Obama conceded at the beginning of his remarks that tension "has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations."
"And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear," said the president, who recalled hearing prayer calls of "azaan" at dawn and dusk while living in Indonesia as a boy.
Fox News had Valerie Jarrett on the show today and she reiterated that Bush strengthened Jihadis and Obama will make them go away. Forest Gump was right...stupid is as stupid does.
The Snooper Report says: I watched the speech as delivered by the Teleprompter. My impression? Giving credit where credit is due, the Teleprompter Division did a wonder and perfect job at scrolling when required and there were no glitches which were apparent or noticeable. So, Obama's elecgtronically generated eloquence was once m ore apparent but it didn't hide the fact that Obama is really an expert at revisionist history and was able to convince people that the god of Islam is the same God of Christianity and the same G_d of the Torah.
He revealed his understanding of Islam and proceeded to ignore Islam's history and says that Islam is based on peace. I am fairly sure that he meant "piece" instead of "peace" but I don't work in the Teleprompter Division.

I could not live-blog it and nearly vomited during the nearly 1-hour speech when, obviously, he had to hold back on the America and Bush bashing. Anyway, the speech was packed full of rhetoric from one that ultimately hates the Constitutoinal Republic we were founded on and wants to change it into some morphed form of various forms of government that have always failed throughout history.
