Founding Fathers Favored 'Government-Run Health Care'

We really should rewrite this thing because the libtards in the 20th century are going to rewrite it anyway. For crying out loud here. Have you ever heard of such bunk in your life?

Forbes writer Rick Ungar is getting some attention for a piece arguing that history shows that John Adams supported a strong federal role in health care. Ungar argues that Adams even championed an early measure utilizing the concept behind the individual mandate, which Tea Partiers say is unconstitutional.

I just ran this theory past a professor of history who specializes in the early republic, and he said there's actually something to it. Short version: There's no proof from the historical record that Adams would have backed the idea behind the individual mandate in particular. But it is fair to conclude, the professor says, that the founding generation supported the basic idea of government run health care, and the use of mandatory taxation to pay for it. [...]
go read the rest of that pos!

I have read Madison's notes many, many, many times to get a full metal grasp on the USC and there has never ever been anything that remotely alluded to "federal health care" in those notes. No other Framer even remotely suggested this so Rick Ungar is an idiot.

I find it odd and peculiar that this story has even been raised considering that the Tea Party whooped everybody's ass on Novemeber 2, 2010 and they are the Constitutionalists; the 112th Congress read the USC from start to finish even though they left out the "racist" parts which mean the Constitutioina was NOT read in its entirety. One just have to "love" the marxist-sociopaths that invented racism to start with.

I also have to "love" the "unnamed expert" that is greatly in fear of letting itself be known to be a classic libtard lying ass.

However, just saying here, IF federal health care may have been mentioned way back over 230 years ago, federal health care is NOT - I repeat, NOT - in the United States Constitution so therefore ObamaCare in in fact UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Forbes knows it. This twit Rick Ungar knows it. The libtards knows it. You know it. I know it.

The vast majority of Americans said NO but Congress said to go screw yourselves and said yes. We had an election and the libtards were astronomically eviscerated and Harry Dingy Reid knows this as well. He is a coward and the reason he will not allow this to be brought up in the US Senate is because he knows the repealing of this monstrocity - this budget buster from Satan himself - will pass the Senate and will be made the Law of the Land even if Obama vetoes it...he will be overridden. Period.

That's fairly poor reasoning. The Iraq War isn't in the Constitution. Does that mean the Iraq War was unconstitutional?

Let me put it this way: where in the Constitution does it say you cannot have government funded & mandated health insurance?

Your "reasoning" is indeed defective.

Where in the USC does it say federal heath care is AOK? It doesn't. Therefore, it is in fact UNCONSTITUTIONAL plain and simple. This can be repaired, however. All one needs to do is AMEND the Constitution and therefore, if ratified, becomes the Law of the Land. Savy?

As for Iraq, read the USC first before you make a complete and total ass out of yourself.
