Chrislam. Let me clear about one thing and one thing only here. There are no similarities between Christianity or Islam. ONLY one supports the One True God because the One True God is the same God of Christianity and not Islam. Jesus was not a pedophile. Muhammed, the "father" of Islam was. Jesus never said for anyone to cut anyones' heads off. Islam does.
I don't know which god is the god of Islam but the god of Islam is the god of Hell.
A Protestant renewal organization is concerned about the recent efforts of some mainline Protestant churches to produce an ecumenical reconciliation between Christianity and Islam.
According to a recent blog post from The Last Crusade, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, along with other congregations in Atlanta, Seattle, and Detroit, preached sermons and held Sunday school lessons on the founder of Islam, Mohammad, whom Muslims consider a prophet. Qurans were also placed in the pews next to Bibles.
Here in Collin County Texas I have not heard of anything like this happening. Whereas if Christians wish to learn about Islam and its Satanic origins, Islam should never be placed on the same levels of Christianity and the Koran should never be placed in the pews of any Christian Church.
As for the alleged Christian Churches that are participating in this anathema, let everyone be forewarned that this is "socialized christianity" and the Laodecians should be very proud. God is not. Revelation 3:13 - 22.
