Snatching - A Snatching Away - A Carrying Off - A Transport - Snatch
Is the “Rapture” at the same time as the Second Coming of Christ? That all depends. What is the Second Coming of Christ? Well, that all depends as well. “In the beginning”, God, the Holy Spirit and the Son created this planet called Earth. To me, that is the First Coming to Earth. To me, the Second Coming was during the 33 years that Christ was on this planet. To me, the Third Coming of Christ will be during the “rapture”, which I will explain below. The Fourth Coming of Christ will be when Jesus returns to this Earth with the souls which he “transported” BEFORE the Great Tribulation.
Personally, I understand why people think Christians will live through the Tribulation before we all get “raptured” out but what I don’t understand is why people actually believe this is what is taught in the Scriptures, because it isn’t. Satan wants to divide all Christians on this subject but what I can tell you, in Dr Chuck Misslers verbiage, “we will instruct these people on the way up”.
The term “rapture” cannot be found in any English Bible. It can be found within the Latin Bible and it can be found within the Greek texts, not the Hebrew texts. This is why 2 Timothy 2:15 must be adhered to. Man tries to interpret the Scripture and always fails. The only interpretation of the Scripture is what is told us within the Scripture in 2 Peter 1:20; “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
If we believe what everyone states is The Interpretation, we have no Bible whatsoever. (The same thing exists for our American Federal Constitution, which is The Why we have failed federal and state governments.) This is The why we have failed “Christian” denominations and a failed society.
NOTE: Whenever I cite Scripture verses, the chapter before the verse(s) is mentioned; the entire chapter of which the verse(s) are mentioned; the chapter after the verse(s) are mentioned must be read/studied along with the actual verse(s) are cited - this is how Scripture interprets Scripture and the Truthg is revealed through God’s Wordsa and not Man’s words - Man’s interpretation(s) are an anathema to God Himself, period.
The defining factor of any and all “arguments” in regards to the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are the Scriptures alone - there are far too many “debates”, and their shouldn’t be, over the meanings, inputs and scopes of the Rapture and the Second Coming (because the Second Coming was when Jesus was on the planet).
So, what is the Rapture; when is it coming; how is it defined? What is the Second Coming? When one studies the Scriptures, this term does not exist - it is Man’s interpretation. Most of us know that this second coming of Christ is when Jesus returns with His Saints - or is it? What do the Scriptures say? Let us read/study them all…
“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
Is the above good enough? It is perfect if you believe that the “Rapture” will take place at the “Second Coming” because it fits the lie.
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.” - 1 Corinthians 15:50-54
Once again, when one verse is used to prove a point, that point is a lie straight from Satan - Satan knows God and knows how to get people to believe the lie - Romans 1:24,25. Scripture will interpret itself, no matter how “you read it”…if you are an honest individual.
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” - 1 John 3:2

“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.” - Zechariah 14:1-7

Zechariah is teaching/preaching when God Himself has returned with His Saints. Where did these saints come from? Were they merely formed by God to arrive or are these saints those that were “caught up”? When the Rapture occurrs, we meet the Lord in the air…not the Mount of Olives.
There are many other Scriptures to read/study so find them yourselves and allow God to teach you, not Man. If you are relying on Man’s interpretations, you are actually learning Satan’s lies.
Many of you think that Dr Chuck Missler is a fanatical nut but what the Lord has taught me is that those that hate Truth are the fanatical buffoons. Below I have made my own “indications” in bold print…
One of the strengths of the pre-trib view is that it is better able to harmonize the many events of end-time prophecy because of the above distinctions. There are some awkward difficulties with the post-tribulational view:
1) The post-tribulation view requires that the church be present during the 70th week of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27), even though it was absent from the first 69. This is in spite of the fact that Dan 9:24 indicates that all 70 weeks are for Israel. We believe the church must depart prior to the 70th week, before the final seven-year period (see our briefing package, Daniel’s 70 Weeks, for further study).
2) The post-tribulation view denies the New Testament teaching of imminency—that Christ could come at any moment—since there are intervening events required in that view. We believe there are no signs that must precede the Rapture.
3) The post-tribulation view has difficulties with who will populate the Millennium if the Rapture and the Second Coming occur at essentially the same time. Since all believers will be translated at the Rapture and all unbelievers are judged, because no unrighteous shall be allowed to enter Christ’s Kingdom, then no one would be left in mortal bodies to start the population base for the Millennium.
4) Similarly, post-tribulationism is not able to explain the sheep and goats judgment after the Second Coming in Matthew 25:3-46. Where would the believers in mortal bodies come from if they are raptured at the Second Coming? Who would be able to enter into Christ’s Kingdom?
5) The Bride of Christ, the church, is made ready to accompany Christ to earth (Revelation 19:7-8, 14) before the Second Coming, but how could this reasonably happen if part of the church is still on the earth awaiting the Second Coming? If the Rapture of the church takes place at the Second Coming, then how does the Bride (the church) also come with Christ at His Return?
While many diligent scholars disagree, most of their views derive from their presuppositions about the Scripture. The more literal a view, the more there is an adoption of a pre-millennial pre-tribulation position. We encourage you to review the various passages yourself and develop your own conclusions. This is our “Blessed Hope,” and you will not find a more exciting and rewarding discovery. This is just a brief overview of a complex subject, so apply 2 Timothy 2:15:”
Just for your own information: “And if you don’t happen to hold our views, don’t worry about it. We’ll explain it to you on the way up! Incidentally, Enoch is a model. He was pre-flood, not mid-flood or post-flood!” - Chuck Missler
“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” - Matthew 24:27-31
The New Testament “kink” to the post-tribbers which correlates to Zechariah mentioned above.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” - John 14:3
“Paul speaks of the Rapture as a “mystery” (1 Corinthians 15:51-54), that is, a truth not revealed until its disclosure by the apostles (Colossians 1:26). The Second Coming, on the other hand, was predicted in the Old Testament (Daniel 12:1-3; Zechariah 12:10; 14:4). In fact, the oldest prophecy uttered by a prophet was given before the flood of Noah and was of the Second Coming! It was given by Enoch, quoted in Jude 14-15.
The movement of the believer at the Rapture is from earth to heaven; at the Second Coming it is from heaven to earth. At the Rapture, the Lord comes for His saints (1 Thessalonians 4:16), while at the Second Coming the Lord comes with His saints (1 Thessalonians 3:13).” - Chuck Missler
This is a fantastic site to visit if you really want to know The Truth.
“There are those who claim that the word “rapture” isn’t in their Bible. That’s because they aren’t using the Latin translation:
…deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul rapiemur cum illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cum Domino erimus.. -1 Thessalonians 4:17 (Latin Vulgate)
The Latin equivalent of the Greek Harpazo is the Latin verb rapio, “to take away by force.” In the Latin Vulgate, one of the oldest Bibles in existence, the appropriate tense of rapio appears in verse 17. (Raptus is the past participle of rapio, and our English words “rapt” and “rapture” stem from this past participle.)
At the Rapture, living believers will be “caught up” in the air, translated into the clouds, in a moment in time, to join the Lord in the air.” - KHouse.org
Basically stated, that’s it.
The above chart are ALL of the verses/chapters that must be studied according to 2 Timothy and Acts…we must “know if these things are true”. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” - Acts 17:11
Coming up with our own conclusions about the Scripture, Revelation(s), Prophecy and “meanings” outside of what the Scriptures preach, instruct and teach are an anathema unto God.
Don’t be accursed of God - it is hazardous to your sole. The “Rapture” (Latin Vulgate) happens BEFORE the Second Coming (actually the Third Coming when Scriptures are studied/known) and the Second Coming is NOT the Rapture at all.
