Asking a Marxist-Moonbat to come clean on anything is like asking the moon to rise and fall in exactly the 'right way' each night.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa on Sunday stopped short of demanding that Attorney General Eric Holder resign over the botched gun-tracking program “Fast and Furious.”
But Issa re-rang his call for Holder to come before a House committee and come clean on what Issa claimed were “less-than-accurate” comments over when the attorney general founded out about “Fast and Furious” – a mission led by the Bureau for Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that lost track of weapons later discovered at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
Big Media Outlets Ignore Subpoena of Entire Top Tier of Obama Administration -- Perhaps the biggest story in the political world since the U.S. House of Representatives voted to impeach Bill Clinton in the 1990s, although the Senate refused to remove him from office, is the fact that this week a subpoena from the House was issued to the entire top tier of the Obama Administration. Yet as of today the big media outlets--ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post--have ignored the story entirely. And if they did mention it in passing, it was buried on a back page or relegated to an inconspicuous web page while never seeing the light of day on the air. Only Fox gave the story top billing.
Cain Wants Electrified Border Fence -- Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said Saturday that part of his immigration policy would be to build an electrified fence on the country’s border with Mexico that could kill people trying to enter the country illegally. The remarks, which came at two campaign rallies in Tennessee as part of a barnstorming bus tour across the state, drew loud cheers from crowds of several hundred people at each rally. At the second stop, in Harriman, Tenn., Mr. Cain added that he also would consider using military troops “with real guns and real bullets” on the border to stop illegal immigration.
Bachmann Signs Border Security Pledge -- Michele Bachmann, campaigning in Perry, Iowa, hit border security hard in a clear bid to contrast herself with Rick Perry, per Kay Henderson: By signing this one, Bachmann is promising that she will secure the border if she’s elected president. Van Hipp of South Carolina, chairman of Americans for Securing the Borders, told me in an interview that too many candidates have paid mere “lip service” to the issue. “Nothing really gets done,” Hipp said. “We believe by having a pledge like this it really is the best way to hold the politicians’ feet to the fire so we’re calling on all federal candidates for president, for senate and for the House to sign the pledge to secure the border of this country and to make America safer.”
