In The Real World - Taxes and Socialism Are Killers

~Snooper~

A while back Donald Douglas wrote an article about Barack's crisis of confidence. The article reminded me of many training exercises and mission actuals. Over confidence breeds error in judgment. I suppose that is why I have kept it in my Daily Reads in my reader warehouse. After this post however, it will no longer reside there. Sometimes, there are as much as 400 articles in there that I may of may not ever get there. Most of the time I read everyone.

The article I have linked to was posted on 07 OCT '08, almost a week ago as of this writing. It is more appropriate now than it was then making Donald Douglas a prophet. I say prophet due to what The One Messiah (so named by Louis Farrakhan) uttered today on the campaign trail. He actually stated that he would redistribute the wealth and everyone will be better off for it. That right there is a statement of defeat. And, if taken advantage of, McCain can make the socialist agenda of the Marxist stick. That and telling people that he is going to raise taxes, in the real world, is a deal breaker. Ask Mondale. Then again, we live in upside down land.

The Doug Ross piece was a post he penned and published after the debate last week. He focused on the question in regards to sacrifice:

[...] After a few initial questions on the economy and the federal role in helping Americans through the hard times, moderator Tom Brokaw posed an Internet question on national sacrifice:
Since World War II, we have never been asked to sacrifice anything to help our country, except the blood of our heroic men and women. As president, what sacrifices - sacrifices will you ask every American to make to help restore the American dream and to get out of the economic morass that we're now in?
Senator Obama's response offered a revealing window to his essential dismissal of traditional American optimism and the nation's history of up-by-the bootstraps perseverance:
You know, a lot of you remember the tragedy of 9/11 and where you were on that day and, you know, how all of the country was ready to come together and make enormous changes to make us not only safer, but to make us a better country and a more unified country.

And President Bush did some smart things at the outset, but one of the opportunities that was missed was, when he spoke to the American people, he said, "Go out and shop."

That wasn't the kind of call to service that I think the American people were looking for.

And so it's important to understand that the - I think the American people are hungry for the kind of leadership that is going to tackle these problems not just in government, but outside of government.

And let's take the example of energy, which we already spoke about. There is going to be the need for each and every one of us to start thinking about how we use energy.

Take note of this ...

Obama says each and every one of us must "start thinking about how we use energy." [...]

I watched the debate three times and each time I was wondering why Barack never answered the question with anything substantive or even viable. That reveals a lack of confidence shrouded in the air of over confidence as far as I am concerned. What is totally interesting about his answer is his omission as to what he himself said eight days after the 91101 attacks on American soil. He didn't talk of sacrifice at all. In part, the verbiage below is what he said:
[...] “Obama’s comments about legitimate causes’ of terror groups and ‘root problems of causes and dangers’ seems to echo little-noticed remarks the presidential candidate made eight days after 9/11 in which he said the attacks were carried out because of a lack of “empathy” for others’ suffering on the part of al-Qaeda, whose terrorist ideology ‘grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.’

“Obama went on to imply the Sept. 11 attacks were, in part, a result of U.S. policy, lecturing the American military to minimize civilian casualties in the Middle East and urging action opposing ‘bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle-Eastern descent.’

“Even as I hope for some measure of peace and comfort to the bereaved families, I must also hope that we, as a nation, draw some measure of wisdom from this tragedy,” Obama wrote in a piece about 9/11 published Sept. 19, 2001, in Chicago’s Hyde Park Herald.” [...]

The above can be found at Canada Free Press. There is much more in the article but, suffice it to say, the answer he gave the American People at the last debate was yet another example of a typical Democrat Party Leader answering a question with pretty rhetoric. He knows nothing of sacrifice as is revealed by McCain's answer:
[...] During tonight's debate, John McCain - in great contrast to Obama - spoke with assurance on the "sacrifice question," noting:
Look, we can attack health care and energy at the same time. We're not - we're not - we're not rifle shots here. We are Americans. We can, with the participation of all Americans, work together and solve these problems together.
In other words, there's nothing we can't do if we set our minds to it. Americans have risen to the challenge, time and again; and when facing rough times, we keep our chins up and barrel through the hard patches. [...]
Barack, as a good socialist would say, told the American People that we suck as a nation and as a People whereas McCain said that our future is ahead, better days are ahead and we are Americans, dammit, and we can overcome. We always have.

Barack's confidence is artificial at best. He is entirely out of his league and his handlers know it. His statements of raising taxes and taking money from one American and giving it to another is a deal killer. Mark my words. This video here explains it all. Feel free to distribute the video to everyone you know.

Barack's judgment is flawed in many ways and the only ones that should be voting for him are friends and family members just because they know him. Anyone of any moral stature will dismiss him out of hand. He has no moral compass. If he does, the magnets are out of alignment or the oil is low and the gimbal bearings are shot. On top of that, if he wasn't trying out for the Presidency and had he applied for a position requiring a top secret clearance, he would not pass muster in the background checks. Especially since he has multiple Logan Act violations and quite possible multiple Smith Act violations. He didn't even write his own memoir.

He is a Marxist color-coded in socialism to make him taste better - because socialism is much better than communism - that wants to raise taxes on everybody and take from those that have worked hard and give it to those that aren't worth a grain of salt. Socialism is a step or two closer to communism and that is what Barack's handlers want.

Some would say that the country would be better off with Barack as President for 4 years or even eight to revive the Nation. That kind of stinkin' thinkin' is absurd. That is like taking your mind off of your infected hang nail on your big toes by poking your eye out with a crow bar. That is neither intelligent nor is it a viable option.

The Insecurity Surrounding The One

~Snooper~

It is now eighty six days out from the American National elections and one candidate is in a free-fall from grace and the other is surmounting a come-back. The questions remain; which one will win and upon which values will they run upon?

The choices this year are between fact and fable. However, the never ending screed is fact is fable and fable is fact; right is wrong and wrong is right. In conjunction with this, due to the purposeful muddying of the waters by campaign managers and the once-upon-a-time objective news media, one must be able to see through the dark and fogged glass clearly.

One can say that John McCain from time to time has to look left to see right and Barack Obama more often than not has to look right to see left. As perplexing as this is, it is laughably obvious. While both candidates are guilty as charged in this regard, looking at the motives of either paints a clear picture. Both are going for the old Reagan Democrats and those sitting on the fence.

Senator McCain with a life-time record of serving this nation has garnered respect from both politicians and citizens alike. On the other hand, Senator McCain has accrued some enemies along the way. Senator Obama, with a life-time record of, well, nothing much to account for, he is the New Guy on the block. His total 145 days experience on the national scene doesn't amount to much of anything worthy of note unless one claims his "reaching across the aisle" to find and secure "loose nuclear weapons" is note worthy. If that is his claim to fame on the national scene, it certainly isn't much to talk about. Who wouldn't want to do that and why would it take "reaching across the aisle" to achieve it?

In recent ads from both Camps, it has been revealed the hypocrisy of the Democrat Party leadership. The video released by the McCain Camp both pleased and enraged a wide spectrum of pundits and citizens. The DemRapidResponse team quickly scrambled in response thus falling into the trap set by the McCain Camp. The McCain ad depicted leading Democrats praising and fawning over McCain. The response video depicted those same leading Democrats spewing vitriol at the man they had once praised. So, which is it? Praise or vitriol?

The McCain ad is a classic example of the Maverick in action. Whereas most Conservatives don't want to hear about making friends with the enemy as an achievement, the ad clearly exposes the Double Standard so prevalent among the Leftinistra. Obama has tried to conduct himself in similar fashion but doesn't have the experience required to conduct and project a positive message. America has grown tired of his America Sucks jargon.

One of the many fables I hear, see and read about is that Obama will be the clear victor in November. Not so fast. It is July and he is tanking in the polls - even the infamous biased and opinionated polls. If it is a shoe-in for Obama, why then is he not light years ahead of McCain and why is McCain speeding away. The fact is this - Obama has slipped away and is sliding down in a tail-spin and McCain is rising to the top. From The Hill:

[...] Republican strategist Karl Rove said Sunday the fact that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama does not have a large lead in the race shows that there are "grave doubts" about the Illinois senator.

"With a restive electorate, with an economy that's sort of chugging around, with a war in the background, at the end of eight years of Republican rule in the White House, Obama should be way ahead," Rove, who engineered President Bush's two election victories and whose name is synonymous with tough campaigning, said on CBS's "Face the Nation." [...]

To support the fable v fact meme, there has been data released recently that paints quite a different picture for both Presidential Aspirants. It is indeed safe to say that the race has turned to the favor of McCain and the fable of an Obama victory is giving way to the facts at hand.

When Barack cannot answer a question posed to him by a 7-year old girl without utter disdain for the country he so wishes to rule, the American People quickly turn their backs on such cretins. For the sake of arguing, let us say that Barack was correct in his verbiage. Was it appropriate to tell a 7-year old girl that her country sucks? Not hardly. This is why the fable of Barack is giving way to the fact McCain.

In recent times, it was considered a major faux pas to even think about criticizing The One Barack. Now, it is common place even among Hollywood comedians. Also, the once fabled Barack, after announcing that he would debate McCain or Bush at any time and any where on any thing has given to fact that he lied and runs away at every opportunity. The fact remains is that he is ill-equipped to debate anyone without the use of a teleprompter.

As yet one more war develops and rages on between Georgia and Russia, Obama reveals one more time is inadequacies to lead and falls in line with his mentor Frank siding with Moscow's war of aggression and this one is about oil. Obama urged "restraint" from the people of Georgia. Restraint Barack? Georgia was attacked and you call for restraint? Again, one more example of the leadership fable of Barack. The fact of leadership can be found in McCain:

[...] While Obama offered a response largely in line with statements issued by democratically elected world leaders, including President Bush, first calling on both sides to negotiate, John McCain took a remarkably - and uniquely - more aggressive stance, siding clearly with Georgia's pro-Western leaders and placing the blame for the conflict entirely on Russia. [...]
Georgia is an ally of the United States and had 2,000 fighters in Iraq which have since been flown home. We also have American Troops in Georgia and Barack wants to side with Moscow? This is a would-be leader of the United States? Not only is Baracks's leadership capabilities a fable, they are a myth. His true desires and intents can be found here where he blames the United States for all the woes of the world.

Fable: Obama's leadership qualities.
Fact: Obama's platitudes.

We don't need The One Celebrity in the White House...we need a man of Leadership qualities of which Obama is void of and McCain has - even if we disagree with his line of thinking.

NOTE: please vote this up at Digital Journal...trying to finance my trip to DC...thanks

Democrats Running Away From Czarbama and the DNC In Droves

~Snooper~

Lftbhndagn from PDdotcom brings news, as does Gateway Pundit and Power Line that Czarbama and the DNC leadership - if you can call it leadership - (seen and heard Nancy recently?) are so out of touch with their constituency, their "underlings" have become disenfranchised and are abandoning ship in vast numbers. This is a sign of several things.

It could mean that the run-of-the-mill and basic Democrat Party member recognizes the far-left and socialist/Marxist/fascist ideologies so espoused by the Deanites, and see that as detrimental to the American Traditional Way of Life. And, that is rightfully so. Nothing the DNC so espouses can be reconciled with the United States Constitution...not one. I would invite any Leftinistra to at least TRY and prove that statement wrong. Some have tried in the past and ended up calling me a fascist Bushite because they could not reconcile and lost the argument. Typical.

It could be that folks are finally catching on to the unknowns of this upstart Czarbama.

It could be that his flip-flopping around like a fish out of water on every topic, the most recent being off-shore drilling.

It could be that the Barackometer accurately reveals the empty suit running for POTUS.

It could be that they have noticed that Czarbama once said that he would welcome a debate at any time and at any place but continuously "changes directions". He has backed down on the Townhall style debate but has agreed to 3 debates in the fall, after the conventions. Naturally. He doesn't want to confirm his inability to debate and yak without the benefit of a teleprompter before the convention. He wants to wait until it is too late to "change" candidates and "hope" folks don't notice. It is obvious that he cannot hold his own when he is "on the spot". Sad.

It could be that they witnessed John McCain exposing this sad-sacked Marxist wanna-be World President with his own words about inflating our tires to keep us from needing to drill for our own oil. Inflating our tires is going to save the planet? For such an educated man, he sure is on the unintelligent side of the Smart-O-Meters.

It could be that more and more are finding out that his "contributions" are coming via our enemies. That's nice, isn't it?

It could be that more and more are finding out that Czarbama isn't coming forth with his own official birth certificate which is EASY to get but there is now a petition running around to FORCE the issue.

Or, they are just sick and tired of the flaw-filled "flawless" one.
